Sycamore Canyon is a TK-8 school serving both elementary and middle school students.
We are a four-time California Distinguished School award recipient. This program recognizes California schools that have made exceptional gains in implementing academic content and performance standards adopted by the State Board of Education.
Sycamore Canyon School offers a Multi-Tiered System of Support to meet the needs of all students in TK through eighth grade. This system of support focuses on both the academic success and socio-emotional well-being of its students. Supports are embedded wtihin the school day as well as offered both before/after school for our students.
Our SEM is based on best practices in gifted education and aims to challenge and enrich every child's education by facilitating both academic and affective learning opportunities to build a foundation for critical thinking, achievement, innovation and success.
Acacia's student-centered Homework Philosophy empowers students to read, pursue their interests and allows for choice and family time, while working towards their personal learning goals.

Additional highlights of the school include a host of unique enrichment opportunities for students to participate in such as Band, Strings, Choir, CRPD After School Elementary Offerings, Math Counts, ELOP, ASB, Student Council, and more.
Sycamore Canyon School is dedicated to nurturing the growth and success of every student from transitional kindergarten (TK) through eighth grade. Our robust Multi-Tiered System of Support is designed to address both academic achievement and socio-emotional well-being.
Our PTSA offers our school community volunteer opportunities to help with the enrichment of our students as well as provides students with a STEAM Lab, Art Lab, Music Lab, additional PE, and more. Add to this all of the community events such as Movie Night, International Night, Family Reading/Math Night, Carnival, Fun Run, and Book Fair just to name a few.
